Saulius Slavinskas was born in 1961 in Vilnius. In 1979 he graduated from 7th High School, and in 1983 he joined to VISI, faculty of Architecture.
In 1985 he won the first place in republic Architecture competition, from the same year – international student ideas competition SIKON organizer. In 1986 he won the first place in republic Architecture competition. In 1988 he graduated from VISI, faculty of Architecture, as a qualified architect. In 1991 he opened personal architectural design firm (employing up to now). Since 1993 – special buildings certified project manager, from 1993 to 1996 – educational activity in VGTU, department of Architecture, since 1995 – a member of the union of Architects, and since 2005 – Art creator.
The artist started to photograph more intensively in 2009. The same year was organized the first author photo exhibition in Vilnius. In 2010 – group exhibition “LT Pinhole“ in Palanga. In 2011 – Photographic project KITI in Klaipėda. In 2011 – personal photo exhibition at the ministry Fluxus, in Vilnius. In 2012 – group photo exhibition at the ministry Fluxus, in Kaunas. In 2013 – author photo exhibition in Druskininkai. Since 2013 – a member of the union of photographers. In uncolored photographs of the photographer, created using “pinhole“ technique, dominate architectural objects, and the presented series is called RIBA (BOUNDARY).
