Aušra Bartkutė-Deviatnikova, a young generation painter, lives and works in Ukmerge. Since 2004, painter Dawn has been conducting solo exhibitions, participating in group and international exhibitions with professional artists, and has organized exhibitions abroad. Painter Aušra Bartkutė-Deviatnikova has been interested in art from an early age.
During her childhood, Aušra studied at the Ukmerge Art School and the A. Smetona Gymnasium, where she taught strengthened art. While studying at this school, he became friends with his future teachers: Audrius Žilėnas, Birute Žilėnienė, Julius Zareckienė, Romualda Zareckienė, Jolita Šlepetienė.
In 2005, she graduated from Bachelor of Arts in painting at Šiauliai University.
In 2007 she graduated from the Department of Painting at Šiauliai University with a master’s degree in painting field.
Speaking of painting, painter Aušra Bartkutė-Deviatnikova states: “I never have any preliminary sketches, but I always carry with them some kind of sensory vision, which only acquires a canvas and acquires color and visual expression. Painting for me is the most wonderful form of meditation that refreshes, gives me, with a great deal of positive energy, spiritual peace, and in the final result-visual form delights not only myself, but also the people to whom my paintings go. Without painting I have a hard time imagining my life. ”- said the painter.
