Kristina Sereikaitė – a photographer of young generation, was born in 1980, in Radviliškis, and currently lives and creates in Vilnius. In 2002-2005 she was learning in Vilnius Technologies and Design college. In 2007 she studied Photography in France national photography school, in Arles (Lꞌécole nationale de la photographie, ENSP), France. In Lithuanian Music and Theater academy she graduated from the studies program of video operator and get bachelor (in 2010) and cinematic master degree (in 2012). In 2005 she became a laureate of French cultural centre, for the honor of Robert Doisneau, organized photography contest “The moment of gentleness“, in 2012 for series INNOCENCE in the international photography festival “Map Toulouse“ category “Man and water“ (France) she was awarded the main prize, in 2015 in Panevėžys International photography biennial “Man and city“ she earnt the first place for the cycle of photographs “Concentrations“, the same year in the international photography contest “ICC Photographic Award“ she get in between 30 finalists from all over the world (the contest was organized for Paris climate change conference COP21 occasion). Since 2013 she has been a member of Lithuanian union of photographers, Lithuanian association of cinematographers.

Since 2005 the young artist has organized 18 personal exhibitions in Lithuania (in the home-museum of Antanas Mončys, in KKKC palace of exhibitions, in museum of Ceramics (in the National art museum of M. K. Čiurlionis), in the gallery “Park of Art“, in Vilnius photography gallery, in VMU gallery of arts “101“, in Panevėžys Photography gallery, in gallery “Sofa“ and et al.), in Finland (Laatikkomo Gallery, Jyvӓskylӓ, 2015), in Denmark (Krebsen Gallery, Copenhagen, 2012), in France (Galerie du Colombier, Paris, 2011; Galerie Stimultania, Strasbourg, 2009).

She participated in group art exhibitions in Lithuania (2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2005), in France (2015, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2005), in London, in United Kingdom (2014), in Montreal, in Canada (2014), in Veracruz, in Mexico (2010), in Lynnwood, in California, in the USA (2010).

The professional and creative biography of Kristina Sereikaitė is related to global studies of visual culture. In her creative work the elements of photographic and cinematographic art merge.
