Gintaras Jaronis completed his art studies at the Vilnius Art Institute with a diploma thesis “Portrait in artistic photography” in 1987. During his studies and later, he worked as a photo club instructor, art teacher, and for several years engaged in individual creative activities. Since 2006 – multimedia specialist at Vytautas Magnus University. Photographs published in print and online publications. Since 2015 cooperates with VŠĮ Gabrielės art gallery, creator and administrator of the website https://gabrielegallery.eu (volunteer activity). Prepared and exhibited small-scale thematic, personal exhibitions. In 2020-2022, he participated in the academic-cultural project of the creation an online archive “Lietuvos zinai” (‘Lithuanian fanzines’). Link–>
Gintaras Jaronis photographs fragments of the living environment and travels using infrared spectrum photography. In this way, he tries to distance himself from the fixation of a specific time/event. Immerse yourself in the world of symbols and memories… And in recent years, have been implementing ideas in photo compositions of abstract forms.

Čiurlionis – Varėna (photography); ‘‘From landscape till abstraction‘‘: Variations that are based on the topic of the nature of Dzūkija (photography, computer graphics), in the third international festival of arts ‘‘Summer of Druskininkai‘‘ with M. 2005 – photo exhibition ‘‘Child needs Home‘‘. The exhibition was a part of the programme of festival ‘‘Days of Kaunas 2005‘‘; it was organized by the centre of children welfare ‘‘Pastogė‘‘.
2007 – Thematic experimental exhibition (photography, info stands, objects, view, sounds) ‘‘Society and Lifestyles‘‘ in the festival ‘‘Mėnuo Juodaragis‘‘. Zarasai, the island of lake Zarasas. The exhibition was organized as a part of dispersion of the international scientific/humanitarian project ‘‘SAL – Society and Lifestyles‘‘. The idea of the exhibition was implemented by helping VMU and VU students volunteers.
