Deivis Slavinskas was born in 1973 in Kaunas. He was studying and working in Lithuania and England, he was shortly living in other countries too. He hasn’t stopped studying all of his life – the direct practical and theoretical art experience has been lasting from England till India. He participated in 20 exhibitions in England, Italy, Spain, Lithuania. His works are in collections in the USA, England, France, Norway, Lithuania.
Education and career
In 1973 – was born in Kaunas.
In 1987-1991 – studied and graduated from Kaunas Art school.
In 1991-1995 – studied and defended a bachelor degree of Computer‘s graphics in Vytautas Magnus University.
In 1992-1994 – studied in evening courses of Kaunas Art school.
In 1995-1998 – studied privately in the studies of A. Šatas, V. Kašinskas, A. Dambrauskienė.
In 1995-2006 – worked as a press and, later, as a web designer in Lithuania and Germany. Local and international awards for digital art and design.
In 2006-2008 – moved to live to England, because he get a solid designer place’s offer in the English firm “PJ Media“, that belonged to Peter Jones corporation.
In 2008-2014 – was promoted in the position (Head of Digital Creative) to manage a design section in the same firm.
In 2010 – begins to participate in the exhibitions in England.
In 2011 – the first personal exhibition in London.
In 2014 – left to visual arts job trainings in India, financed by himself.
From 2014 till now – came back to Lithuania and works as an artist in full time job.
