Painter Danas Andriulionis was born in 1951. Currently he lives and creates in Klaipėda. In 1979 he graduated from VDI, branch of Klaipėda. Since 1999 he has been a member of Lithuanian union of artists, a painter. In 2007 it has been given the status of Art creator.

The artist is busy with a pedagogical activity – he is a teacher of the profession (painting, composition). The artist has been organizing his author exhibitions since 1992, also, he has been participating in republican and international exhibitions. Mostly exhibitions he has organized in famous galleries of Klaipėda and Vilnius, he has organized the author exhibitions in abroad – Sweden, Spain.

The artist has participated in 33 republican exhibitions, also, he has participated in about 80 group exhibitions: in Lithuania, in Germany, in Paris, in Spain, in Budapest.

Travels and literature have had a considerable influence to the painting of Danas Andriulionis. Signs of various cultures and symbols are inherent to his creation work, the acquaintanceship with East culture – this is especially evident in the paintings. A considerable connection is appreciable with the art of archaism and mythology in the creation work of the artist. The color palette, which is transitive from greenish to brownish shades, is very important in the paintings of the artist.
